Salacia – Sustainable Solutions is formally incorporated in France, marking the transition from an entrepreneurial engineering project to an independent company with a dedicated industrial and environmental mission.
The company is built around a clear objective: developing industrial solutions capable of converting challenging marine biomass, particularly invasive sargassum, into renewable fuel products and valuable co-products. This approach aims to combine the management of problematic biomass with the production of lower-carbon alternatives for energy and transport markets.
The incorporation of Salacia provides the legal and organisational structure required to move the project into a new phase of development. It creates a framework for establishing research and industrial partnerships, protecting and developing intellectual property, recruiting technical talent, raising financing and entering into agreements with future suppliers, partners and customers.
Becoming an independent company also enables Salacia to progressively strengthen its governance, formalise its development roadmap and prepare the technical, commercial and financial foundations required for future scale-up.
This milestone represents an important step in Salacia’s long-term ambition to build a scalable industrial platform for marine-biomass valorization and contribute to the development of more sustainable fuel value chains.
